Shonishin

Shonishin is a specific form of Japanese needle-less Acupuncture used to treat infants and babies. There is no puncturing of skin performed in these treatments. Treatments are effectively applied over clothing but can also be applied to bare skin.

Shonishin treatments are extremely fast and effective, due to the yang-nature of children, and are aimed at addressing common symptoms often experienced by newborns and toddlers. Colic, night terrors, stiff neck and digestive upsets are just a few of the conditions treated in our clinic.

Shonishin is safe to use on infants and is employed in the treatment of children up to the age of 8 years. After 8 years of age, children can safely receive Acupuncture treatments.
